AEPS is one of the financial services planned within the odpayone partner ecosystem. Transaction processing is provided through the applicable authorised service arrangement.

What is AEPS?

Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) is an assisted banking service that can allow eligible customers to access supported banking transactions through an authorised service point using Aadhaar-based authentication.

For odpayone, the objective is to give Partners a structured platform and access path while the underlying AEPS transaction service is handled by the applicable authorised provider.

Customer

The customer visits an enabled Partner/service point for a supported AEPS transaction.

Partner

The Partner uses the applicable service platform or access provided for the AEPS service.

Authorised Provider

The applicable provider handles transaction processing, subject to its service, bank/network and regulatory requirements.

Supported Services

Depending on the authorised AEPS service arrangement, supported services may include:

Cash withdrawal
Balance enquiry
Other supported AEPS services made available by the applicable provider

Availability, eligibility, authentication and transaction limits are governed by the applicable authorised provider and participating institutions.
